چکیده

In this article, we investigate the multichannel cooperative spectrum sharing in hybrid satellite-terrestrial Internet of Things (IoT) networks with auction mechanism, which is designed to reduce operational expenditure satellite-based IoT (S-IoT) network while alleviating scarcity issues terrestrial-based (T-IoT) network. The cluster heads selected T-IoT assist primary satellite users transmission through relaying techniques exchange for access. We propose an auction-based optimization problem maximize sum rate all S-IoT receivers appropriate secondary selection and corresponding radio resource allocation profile by distributed implementation meeting minimum each Specifically, one-shot Vickrey-Clarke-Groves (VCG) introduced obtain maximum social welfare, where winner determination transformed into assignment solved Hungarian algorithm. To further decision complexity, sequential Vickrey implemented fashion until channels are auctioned. Due incentive compatibility those two mechanisms, yields true bids channel, both nonorthogonal multiple access (NOMA) time division (TDMA) schemes communication. Finally, simulation results validate effectiveness fairness proposed approach as well superiority NOMA scheme relays selection. Moreover, influence key factors on performance analyzed detail.

Auction-Based Spectrum Sharing

We study auction mechanisms for sharing spectrum among a group of users, subject to a constraint on the interference temperature at a measurement point. The users access the channel using spread spectrum signaling and so interfere with each other. Each user receives a utility that is a function of the received signal-to-interference plus noise ratio. We propose two auction mechanisms for alloca...

Auction and Game-Based Spectrum Sharing in Cognitive Radio Networks

One of the main reasons behind the concurrent increase in the demand for and congestion of Radio Frequency (RF) spectrum is the rapid development of radio networks of all kinds in our world, which has defiantly changed the public feeling about radio. Nowadays, almost everybody has a mobile phone and radio stations are literary everywhere. Someone can argue that our world is becoming a radio wor...

Handover Management for Hybrid Satellite/Terrestrial Networks

Initially envisaged to support handover between different wireless 802.x network technologies, the IEEE 802.21 standard also appears as the good candidate for handover management in future integrated satellite / terrestrial systems. This paper presents an analysis of how this standard could be implemented in the frame of a realistic scenario and taking into account the current trends in wireles...

UAS CNPC Satellite Link Performance – Sharing Spectrum with Terrestrial Systems

In order to provide for the safe integration of unmanned aircraft systems into the National Airspace System, the control and non-payload communications (CNPC) link connecting the ground-based pilot with the unmanned aircraft must be highly reliable. A specific requirement is that it must operate using aviation safety radiofrequency spectrum. The 2012 World Radiocommunication Conference (WRC-12)...
